City Point Timetable

One of the real problems modeling an early era is figuring out traffic levels and pattern.  Recently I saw a Timetable for City Point in November 1864.  The timetable shows 14 trains per day or 7 out from City Point and back.  Given the research posted and published by Bernie Kempinski and others there are extra sections and Hospital trains giving enough traffic volume to keep most folks busy.  The timetable gives the key stations and departure times.  One interesting feature is that it shows Pitkin as the meeting point as denoted by larger type.  With this information a reconstruction of the flow is possible. More to come.
